Modular courses coincide with the trimester calendar.
Practical modules can therefore be alternated with the theoretical N-levels at the Engineering studies Department of the College.

Building Construction Training:
The Fasix Group signed a service contract with Tshwane South College for FET to train 264 learners in Building Construction skills programmes on the NQF. The Construction Education and Training Authority (CETA) sponsor the training, travelling fees and hostel fees.

Other clients of his department are: Kunguvini Local Municipality (Bronkhorstspruit), Adventura Resorts, Pretoria Zoo, NECSA, Pretoria Girls High School, NECSA, National Department of Defence, Tshwane University of Technology, Johannesburg Water Board, Inpat Iscor Ltd, SAPS, Kriel Power Station, Department of Public Works, Metro Municipality (Tshwane) and the Department of Labour.
